Reallocation Process

From time to time, we recognize that programs may fall into different budget scenarios than originally proposed.  We ask that organizations with changes in budget, program structure and/or timeline of implementation communicate directly with the Program Staff.  In general, in order to seek approval by the Executive Committee for such changes, The Goizueta Foundation requires specific information pertaining to the original grant as well as the requested grant revisions.  Listed below are some of the key items that are typically required.  The Program Staff may have additional questions based on specific grants or budget line items.

  1. Please summarize the original program plan.
  2. What has changed since the original program plan was approved?
  3. Please attach a budget that incorporates the following items in separate columns:
    * Original budgeted line items per year;
    * Actual expenditures by line item per year; and
    * Current request to redirect funds by line item per year
  4. If you are requesting to extend the funding timeline, please indicate the proposed new end date for the program.
  5. How will the redirection of funds and/or timeline extension fit within your organization's current strategies?
  6. If applicable, how will the redirection of funds fit within the program plan and timeline as initially proposed?
  7. What is the advantage of redirecting as requested?
  8. How will your organization ensure that the funds will be used as requested and that no further amendments will be necessary?
