Stronger Atlanta
Stronger Atlanta
– Roberto C. Goizueta –
Roberto C. Goizueta lived in his adopted hometown of Atlanta for 33 years. In 1994, two years before Atlanta hosted the Olympic Games, he exhorted a gathering of the city’s civic and business leaders to create “a dignified quality of life for all of its citizens” – to make a great international city even stronger.
In that spirit, The Goizueta Foundation studies and considers efforts that make Atlanta an exceptional place to live, learn, and do business – elevating our city both for local citizens and on the world stage. Within the Stronger Atlanta grantmaking portfolio, The Goizueta Foundation supports large-scale initiatives at institutions within metropolitan Atlanta.
The Stronger Atlanta Initiative:
Enables the region as a hub of innovation and prosperity
Supports a dignified quality of life for all Atlantans
